Every product sold directly by us is sourced through the official Logitech distribution channel. Here is how to verify.
Why this matters
Pakistan’s accessory market includes grey-market imports, refurbished units sold as new, and outright counterfeit Logitech products. These often look identical to the genuine article — until you try to claim warranty, install drivers, or use specialised features that depend on Logitech’s firmware verification. As Logitech’s authorized Distributor in Pakistan, we sell only genuine products, and we want you to be able to verify it yourself.
What makes a product genuine
Every Logitech unit we ship from logitechofficial.pk has:
- Sealed original packaging from Logitech’s factory, never re-shrink-wrapped.
- An intact holographic Logitech seal on the box. The hologram reflects light in a specific way; counterfeit seals are usually flatter or have visible printing artifacts.
- An original serial number sticker that scans into Logitech’s support portal.
- Genuine firmware recognised by Logitech’s drivers (G HUB, Logi Options+, etc.). Fake units typically fail firmware verification or are blocked from feature updates.
- Official manufacturer warranty — 1 year manufacturer warranty — claimable locally in Pakistan.
How to verify your purchase
- Inspect the holographic seal. Tilt the box under light — the hologram should shift cleanly between colours and patterns. Blurry, flat, or missing holograms are warning signs.
- Locate the serial number. Usually on the box exterior and on a sticker inside (on the product itself). Both should match.
- Register on Logitech’s support site. Visit support.logi.com, find your product, and enter the serial. Authentic products are recognised; grey-market or counterfeit units typically fail this lookup.
- Install the official Logitech software. G HUB (gaming) or Logi Options+ (productivity). Authentic units are detected and offered firmware updates; counterfeits usually aren’t.
What to do if a product looks suspicious
If you bought from us and a product fails any of these checks, contact us immediately — we will investigate, replace the unit, and (if applicable) trace the supply chain. If you bought elsewhere in Pakistan and have concerns, we can help you verify whether the retailer is an Authorized Dealer.
Grey-market vs counterfeit — the difference
Both are problems, but distinct ones:
- Grey-market — a genuine Logitech product, but imported through a channel not sanctioned by Logitech for Pakistan (e.g. sourced overseas, smuggled in, reboxed). The product itself is real, but it carries no Logitech warranty in Pakistan and may not be eligible for local support.
- Counterfeit — a fake product that imitates Logitech packaging and branding but isn’t made by Logitech. Quality is unpredictable, drivers may not work, and there is no recourse if it fails.
